It has been a good 8 years since we have had a litter of puppies and now we have two litters due end of April, a Labrador Retriever x Irish Wolfhound cross and a Beagle x Irish Wolfhound cross (That one wasn't planned). When we used to have litters they were purebred Labs, so we will be dealing with bigger dogs in the Lab litter. We're expecting the little beagle to have two if any, and Shyla to have 8-12. I know we have to socialize the pups and such, but I need a refresher on everything. Because if Shyla has more than 8, we'll have to handfeed them.

Any advice is welcome! If wanted I will post pictures of the pups after they are born. (We are planning on spaying the mothers after the pups have all gone to good homes, to prevent any more unwanted pups)
